Law to the Nth Degree

April 30th, 2009

Most of us know that the universe - God’s universe - operates on an independent structure called Universal Law. The laws of the universe - God’s laws - are an invisible influence that gently force the natural order under which the universe operates to be maintained. We can’t fully understand ‘karma’ without understanding how it works, and why it works that way, and how the way it works affects our lives on a daily basis - without first understanding the laws that support it.

In order to understand how Universal Law, including karma, affects our lives, we have to understand how it fits into ‘the big picture’ of life as God created it: In the beginning, God created souls. The soul is the essence of who we are; it is the core of every individual, and each essence has existed for infinity and will continue to exist for infinity. There is no beginning, and no end; we are all a part of God, and are as infinite as He is. Time is a concept that has been developed for clearer understanding within our own human consciousness levels, but there is no such thing. We just ARE. As soul essences, we always have been, and we always will be.

When we separated from God - when God created the souls as spiritual beings separate from, but still a part of, Himself - He created us in His own image. We remained on a level of God-consciousness, knowing all that God knows and being capable of creating on a level equal to God’s. We ‘knew’ God’s truth, but we didn’t understand it, because it, too, just WAS. We had no sense of conviction that God’s way was the best way, because we had nothing to compare it to. We had always been a part of God Himself, and all we knew was love. What we didn’t know was WHY love is always the answer to any dilemma.

We wanted to know the whys and wherefores of the truth that was an inherent part of us, and God - in His wisdom - created Life, a learning process through which each of us could confirm, through our own experience, that His way is the best way, and His truth is the only truth. To accommodate the life force He had created, He also created learning environments: planets throughout the universe, each of which offered all of the elements necessary for the souls to experience life in it’s many forms, in the hope that they would learn through their experience and come to a point of conviction about the inner truth that they carried in their Spirits.

Universal Truth is a very complex subject, and certainly not one that can be covered in any one lifetime, one level of soul evolution existence. It takes thousands of lifetimes - in many different forms, on many different levels, on many different planets, under many different circumstances - for any soul to experience everything they need to experience in order to reach a level of complete conviction in God’s truth. But that’s all right, because - no matter how many lifetimes we may invest in our soul evolutionary process - there is a part of us that remains with God, and we are never really separate from Him at all.

What we are is incomplete; we (God and all the souls who are a part of Him) cannot be complete again until we have all completed our learning cycles and returned to a state of Oneness. We remain connected to God through Spirit while we experience life on another level; it’s a given that ‘life is easier’ if we open up our connection through Spirit and live our lives according to God’s will as reflected in God’s laws, but - life being what it is, and conscious choice being what it is - we don’t always do that. Instead, we have a tendency to learn the hard way; we allow the driving forces within any given lifetime to actually drive us, instead of allowing God to be the driving force in our lives.

Here on the planet Earth, where we experience life as human beings, the driving forces are obvious ones: our physical, emotional and mental desires often lead us on detours from our spiritual path, and it can take lifetimes to find our way back to our original learning cycle. We lose our way, and we think that life is about instant gratification, and we invest all of our time and energy in getting what we want, when we want it, no matter who we hurt in the process. That’s where karma comes in.

The Karmic Law of Repercussion is one of the strongest influences in our lives, even though it’s effect is invisible. This is the law that says, “What goes around, comes around.” Translated into practical terms, it means that we will learn what we need to learn by being on the receiving end of every decision that we ever make. Every interaction that we have with any other soul currently in a living form incurs karmic debt under the premise of this universal law.

That’s something we need to think about in more detail, because most people (that is, most ’souls in the midst of their current learning cycle as human beings on the planet Earth’) work on the misunderstanding that karma only applies to the ‘big things’ in life. You can incur negative karma, for example, for killing another person, but not for hurting another person’s feelings.

Wrong.

Jesus Christ - one of the great teachers of Universal Law - said, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” because he understood that whatever we do to someone else will - either in this lifetime or the next - be done to us under the Karmic Law of Repercussion. When he told us to ‘turn the other cheek,’ he wasn’t suggesting that we be wimps about things; he was suggesting that we work in the long term and remember that, if we strike out at another for the sake of instant gratification within a present moment situation, we will incur the karmic debt for that choice and someone will strike out at us at some point in our soul evolutionary future.

When we’re on the receiving end of our own choices, we learn from our own experiences what feels like God’s love and what doesn’t, and it makes an indelible impression on our hearts and on our souls. If we could start now to ‘walk a mile in the other person’s shoes’ - if we could truly do unto others as we’d want them to do unto us - we could breeze through the soul evolutionary process in just a few brief lifetimes.

But we don’t. Instead, we respond - all day, every day! - to the people, events and circumstances in our lives with ‘less than spiritual conduct.’ It’s this less than spiritual conduct that brings the most chaos into our lives and the most karma into our personal soul evolutionary process. As human beings, we are tempted daily to give priority to our physical desires, our emotional outbursts, and our mental sense of being justified in everything we do, and it is the day-to-day interactions with other people - and other life forms on the planet itself - that brings us karma on a continual basis.

One of the elements of life philosophy that intrigues most people is the question of ‘degrees.’ Many religious belief systems work on the premise that it’s the degree to which something is done that determines whether it’s right or wrong, or a biggie or a minor infraction of God’s law. But - when I look around the universe for confirmation of truth via consistency - I don’t see any evidence whatsoever that God works in degrees.

Things are either alive or they’re not. Women are either pregnant or they’re not. People are either healthy or they’re not. There ARE degrees, of course; every mother knows there’s a big difference, physically, between being four months pregnant and being nine months pregnant. But the degrees are irrelevant from the perspective that - as far as I can see - everything in God’s universe either IS or it ISN’T.

The key to living our lives on a spiritual level is to realize that it isn’t how much of something ‘wrong’ we do; it’s whether we choose right or wrong responses, according to karmic law as we understand it. I don’t profess, for a minute, to have all the answers to the questions I’m posing here; I’m simply suggesting that, in order to truly understand the karmic influences at play in our lives, we have to be willing to acknowledge some of the basic principles of karmic law itself: that all life forms are equal in the eyes of the God who created them, and that there are no exceptions to the independent ‘rules of life’ that God provided through karmic law itself.

We, as human beings, can no longer justify our ‘less than spiritual conduct’ by working from the assumption that - because we are human beings - we are God’s favorite. These questions don’t just apply to understanding karma, either; they apply to understanding our lives and our relationships.

Betting Games Betting Maniacs Engage in: a Simple Guide to Gambling Saloon Taking Chances

April 29th, 2009

On the assumption that you casino games of chance, be sure to peruse this —

For clarity’s sake: a betting saloon is a house that features gambling. Here, customers may gamble handling the coin-operated machines or different games of luck. Gaming hall games usually include fully transparent probabilities included that make sure the betting house grasps on to its interest against the gambling aficionados.

A huge number of gaming room games can sway you into getting hooked quickly. Let’s look at the stereotypical one-armed bandit, a cash operated contraption with three plus drums that rotate once an arm attached to it is manipulated. This gadget usually reimburses according to predefined patterns of glyphs seen on the screen of the gadget. Sadly, gambling house games put forward the fantasy of manageability, effectively conning the gambling aficionado - the victim is awarded choices, but they won’t realistically compensate for the gamer’s fundamental odds. That is caused by the the casino never paying the full amount as expected. This systematic arrangement is again and again noticeable in acclaimed casino games such as five-card stud, dice, roulette or blackjack.

Five card stud is really an immensely popular casino game. The betting aficionados, religiously guarding their fully screened hands, must place bets into a central pot that is finally given to the last participant enjoying the winning hand. (Obviously, the best bluffing hand may win as well.)

online casino gambling

Analogous to seven card stud, blackjack too is a very trendy casino game. A great deal of its acceptance is caused by its peculiar mix of chance and talent and decision making, not to forget a method dubbed Card Counting. This is a skill by which gaming enthusiasts can bend the arm of chance of the card game in their favor both by betting and strategic actions in accordance with the hands shown.

“Craps” is yet another well known wagering game where punters will place bets on the throw of two dice. Gamers have to place their stakes on the score of one cycle, or on a series of rolls on two dice. Contrary to blackjack, there just isn’t any feasible winning betting system players can make capital of to boost the odds.

Roulette is another notable casino game; a croupier turns a roulette wheel accomodating precisely 37 (European roulette) or, respectively precisely 38 (in the case of American or Vegas roulette) differently tagged places in which a rolling pellet will settle, which decides on the winner as well as the respective odds. When our gamester has put money on a single number and actually is successful, which is to say it’s actually successful, the return is 35:1, the original wager will be returned. Ergo in totality the original stake is multiplied by thirty six.

The Five ‘P’s of Self-Employment

April 27th, 2009

The entrepreneur game is filled with an amazing variety of individuals. Laid-off workers, semi-retired individuals, inspired people with unbounded enthusiasm, and, oh yes, mothers too.

I can speak in the first person about the hardship of self-employment; the daughter of a sign shop owner, I still get nostalgic at a whiff of turpentine or paint fumes; the wife of a persistent ’start-up’ husband, I’ve stood by many, many businesses and contract jobs while my husband ventured his talents in fields as diverse as gutter sales, RESP representative and Capital finance consultant; and memorably, I recall selling small gift items with my mother at flea markets and tried my own hand at jewellery making while still in junior high.

Yes, my experience has also opened my eyes to the devastation of bankruptcy, unreliable business partners and misleading (even deceitful) ‘home business’ schemes.

However, once you have the taste of independence that self-employment offers, it is mighty hard to fight back! So now, as a mother of two small children, I am more determined than ever, that I, and hopefully my husband as well, will BE self-employed with a certain amount of security and obviously, a reliable amount of income.

What can be done? Where does it start? How much will it cost? And can you come from a terrible defeat, self-employment-wise, and “rise from the ashes?”

My answer is “Absolutely!”

I swear to you that opportunity is out there. I see it, and taste it, and more importantly, I know it’s been had by others. What I have also learned is that there are at least FIVE important steps I must take to realize true satisfaction in this game. Let me share them with you.

1) Perseverance.

There are probably more types of work-at-home businesses (or ’schemes’) than pebbles on a beach. This can be overwhelming to a new entrepreneur. But it also means that there will certainly be something you would like to try your hand at. Keep reading, keep surfing, keep asking questions. Knowledge is everything when you’re planning a real business. You’ll learn as much (or more) from your failures as you will from your success.

2) Persistence.

Face it, a lot of people will get excited about a new idea, but very few will follow it through. If you try something that your gut tells you is a good idea, than persist, persist, persist. Often times what makes the difference between those who ‘make it’ and those who don’t, is that solid businesses require a certain amount of real effort. If you are giving it all you’ve got, than results will come.

3) Patience.

In this world of instant satisfaction, it can come as a mind-snapping shock that MOST success stories are not made overnight. It’s true that there are examples of individuals who put a few dollars into a business and became millionaires (or did they?) But you can be assured that a good business will take time to ’saturate’ its market. It may be only days or weeks before you see something happen, but generally you need to expect a minimum of 6 months to a more often stated 2 years to see a reliable business take shape.

4) Positivity.

Is it all sounding too hard by now? Remember, these qualities will Set You Apart! If success was really as easy as some like to advertise, than why are there so many people struggling to pay the bills? Be Positive. If you have the entrepreneur spirit, you know you will eventually try something new, why not keep going with what you have? The rewards are there! It’s been said before, but I quote this anonymous source again: Surround yourself with positive people. I guarantee this makes the difference. If your enthusiasm is being drained, DO NOT share your thoughts or progress with those individuals. Save it for when you can gloat!

5) Past Experience.

This goes back to perseverance. USE your past experiences. Never feel your investment of time or money was a waste. You cannot learn much for free these days, but these experiences will build your business on a solid foundation of knowledge, wisdom, practical experience and confidence. You will learn to trust your instincts more and more. You will spot a fraud, or at least know how to read between the lines of an offer that sounds too good to be true. Most importantly, your experience will enable you to adapt and your self-employment will be firmly fixed as your way of life from here on because of it!

I truly wish you success in your venture. In time we will all have great stories to share of our rise to self-employed FREEDOM. In the mean time, keep going! You will succeed!

Graduation Diplomas For All

April 26th, 2009

Graduation honor cords

Graduation ceremonies offer prospective graduates with a variety of graduation honor cords to those who have fulfilled all the requirements expected of them. There are also those who are lucky to attend the rising number of learning institutions, which present Graduation honor cords to all graduating student for just staying in school for that long. However, for majority of students the only honor cords they ever get to own is the academic cord. This is usually not an easy feat for most students because they are expected to perform well in all examination through out their college years.
Members of honor societies also get to have a chance of putting on graduation honor cords during the ceremony if they prove to be exceptional members of their society. The only difference between this two honor cords is that one is earned through class work while the other require additional personal and social skills. There are also a number of graduation outfit vendors who offer honor cords to any one who wish to buy one for their own use. In fact, if individuals require special honor cord they can order customized one that can have different colors and accessories that they need.

The Only Option is to Succeed

April 25th, 2009

With the end of the year fast approaching, now is a great time to take stock of 2004. It is likely that your company set specific goals at the beginning of the year. As you review the past year, the question that must be asked is, “Have I achieved my goals? Has my company achieved the outcomes we set?” If your answer is yes, congratulations! If not, what stopped you?

There are always unplanned occurrences that prevent us from accomplishing all the goals we set. However, our roadblocks are often as simple as getting caught up in the day to day activities of running our business.

Without constant reminders of our vision and goals, they probably won’t materialize. It’s as simple as that.

The difference between those who achieve a desired outcome and those who don’t is evident. The most common causes of failure in achieving a desired outcome are a lack of goals and focus, lack of direction, lack of appropriate action and lack of being willing to risk - and risk big. On the other hand, those who seem to get the desired result have specific goals, clearly visualize what they want, have clear direction, take massive action and are willing to take incredible risks.
One of my goals for 2004 included writing and publishing another book by year’s end. In creating my newly released book, 101 Ways to Get Your Foot in the Door, this goal was accomplished.

As my co-authors and I were in the initial planning stages of the project we all expressed our desired outcomes or goals. First, the book had to convey quality to the art of selling. Second, we wanted it to be unique, like nothing else currently on the market. Lastly, we wanted to have little, if any, out-of-pocket expenses on what is normally an extremely expensive proposition.

With these goals clearly stated, we set out to create something from the seed of an idea. We were all confident we could achieve the first two goals based on our over 100 years of combined sales knowledge.

It was the goal of achieving as close to a debt free product that would add even more excitement to an already high energy project. The fact is, once we made a public announcement of our book release we had to figure out how to make it work. We did what many high achievers do - we gave ourselves no option but to succeed. We would have to figure out a way to make it work.

Although there are people who would buy simply because they know us, that was not our objective. Our objective was to reach multiple markets where we weren’t necessarily known.

In a moment of high creativity, we decided to sell the book before it was published. We knew if people were willing to buy the book sight unseen we either had to deliver on our promise or lose all credibility in the marketplace and with clients who trust us.

We had to develop an incentive for buying the book before it was printed. As an information products specialist, I know that people value great information. My co-authors also know this to be true. Based on this information we decided to host a complimentary bonus training session for anyone who bought the book before it was published.

The response we received was more than we anticipated. Right from the start the bonus session created quite a few sales. This helped us to pay for a portion of our production costs up front. It also forced us to stay within our stated timeframe for delivery. After all, we couldn’t very well promise hundreds of buyers they would have something on a specified date and not deliver it. Our reputation and credibility was at stake.

With these clear goals, focus, creativity and action, 101 Ways to Get Your Foot in the Door was released on December 2nd. I’m proud to say we achieved all our goals.

As you review the past year, what accomplishments are you extremely proud of? What would you have done differently? What roadblocks got in your way?

The New Year is right around the corner, and with that the opportunity to focus on your personal and business goals. What are the outcomes you truly desire for 2005? Are you willing to give yourself no option but to succeed?

Reach Your Goals - Get Professional Help

April 25th, 2009

Get professional help

There’s no rule that says you have to do it all yourself. There is a whole world of people outside your door (and maybe even in your house) who are capable of tackling parts of your project that you can’t handle, or don’t have the time for. Take advantage of them if that’s what it takes to get the job done! After all, success is the issue, not proving you’re Superman or Superwoman.

For example, let’s say that your goal is to get your house ready for a move or an open house if you’re trying to sell. If finances permit (and even if they don’t, it can still be worth it in terms of mental health preserved), call in a maid service for a day to do basic cleaning, hire professional carpet cleaners, take the animals to a kennel and send the kids off with your sister to Chuck E. Cheese. Let the pros handle the crummy stuff while you focus on ensuring the safe transport of Great Aunt Gemma’s priceless Ming vase to your new home, or while you get busy filling the house with that scent of baking bread that your realtor swears will close the sale.

Zimmer Durom Cup Legal Issues Is Miserable News

April 24th, 2009

Many unfortunate people who received dorr durom used in their hip cup replacement operations are determining that there are difficulties that far surpass the typical expectations for recovery. These poor people are experiencing a lot of additive anguish for longer time periods, facing revision operations and magnified medical costs, and losing income by being unable to work at their regular jobs. Although Zimmer Holdings, Inc. is postulating that that their hip replacement implant is in no way faulty and have basically denied blame for the faililng hip implants, several patients are filing lawsuits against them and accepting settlements.

In the month of October, 2008 Zimmer announced that it had set aside $47.5 million to compensate for lawsuits they had received. Many physicians are not convinced that the hip implant is not faulty as the company has suggested. In fact, when Zimmer offered on-line coaching to MD’s in order to teach them what they said were more accurate methods for doing the implant surgical process, roughly 50% of the physicians declined to participate. Thus, the whole state of affairs continues to be trying for everyone involved, but none more than the hundreds of individuals who are facing revision surgical operation due to problems with their implant not staying secure and snug in the socket.

These tormented patients definitely merit some assistance and restitution which is why product liability lawyers are telling them to file lawsuits. hip implant lawyer has been settling some of these claims, too. However, even if the settlement they are being offered by all standards seems reasonable, in many cases poor people are deciding too quickly and with no provision or allowance put in place for on-going issues if it happens again. Without waiting to find out what an actual case is worth, individuals could find themselves incurring alot more expenses out of their own funds when more medical issues exist or surface.

For anyone who realizes they probably have a claim against Zimmer needs to start checking into it. If you believe you may qualify, you should telephone a attorney to find out for sure. Look for a firm that covers nationally and specializes in litigation against irregular medical devices. This law firm has done the extra work and setup a special section to research and take care of the claims against Zimmer and secure equitable settlements for their clients.

If your orthopedic surgeon updates you with bad news that you will definitely have to undergo a revision surgical procedure to fix your Zimmer Durom hip replacement device, call an attorney right away.

Attending Teleseminars for Fun and Profit

April 24th, 2009

Do you attend teleseminars? I do. Anywhere from 4 to 6 per week, either as a host, a guest or an attendee. I’m willing to invest my time and money in them because I’ve developed some ways to profit from each one. So let me share a few techniques with you.

1. Read the sales letter or announcement for the teleseminar carefully. You want to make sure the content and the people speaking are a match for your interests. The only time I was ever disappointed was when my expectations were not met - and when I re-read the sales letter I found out what I expected was not explicitly mentioned.

2. Don’t be afraid to take advantage of the multitude of complimentary teleseminars being offered. Yes, each will end with a sales pitch. But I consider 55 minutes of great content worth the 5 minute commercial. Certainly can’t get that trade-off on TV!

3. If they ask for questions before the teleseminar, send in a question. No matter how hard you have to think, come up with a good question. Many times the host is looking for good questions to get the discussion started, especially at the start of a call, so your question is more likely to be used on the air if you get it in early.

That means that if they use your question your name will be mentioned on the call. This is no cost publicity! Not only will the live audience hear your name, but everyone who listens to the replay will hear it, too. That can be years of PR.

Why do you care? Because when people are attending a teleseminar, the only thing they have to go on is a name. And the only names they are hearing are the experts who are talking - and the experts who are asking questions. Through association, you are automatically counted as one of the experts. Do this on several calls and other attendees will begin to “recognize” you. That’s good for your reputation.

4. Whether or not they ask for it, send a testimonial immediately after the teleseminar. Don’t wait till the next day. The seminar host is flying high and posting the followup page right after the seminar ends. So when your timely testimonial arrives, he/she is likely to add it to the site. You will be amazed at how many people say “I saw your testimonial on so-and-so’s site.”

A good testimonial is specific. Don’t say “great information”; instead say “I really liked the three tips you gave on affiliate traffic.” And be sure to sign your name and title and website as you want them to appear - they’ll copy and paste it if you’ve done a good job.

5. Use your testimonial as the start of your sales copy. Many teleseminars offer resale rights or affiliate programs. You’re in the perfect position to market the program - you’ve just listened to it and raved about it. Now tell your friends and colleagues about it - and make a profit as well.

So the next time you sign up for a teleseminar, look upon it as a marketing opportunity!

Near Death Experiences — Is There A Logical Explanation?

April 23rd, 2009

Near Death Experiences — Is there a logical explanation?
by Lady Camelot

In the August edition of Reader’s Digest, I stumbled upon a compelling article, “After Life,” by Anita Bartholomew. The article takes an intricate look into the controversial world of “after life” or “near death experiences.” I found myself being hurled into the riveting article like a child in a candy store. In Ms. Bartholomew’s revealing summary, van Lommel (a British researcher) made an interesting statement, “You can compare the brain to a TV set. The TV program is not in your TV set.” Thus, where lies the consciousness?

Modern scientists cannot explain NDEs, or in my opinion– do not want to accept it. What is a Near Death Experience? An NDE is an experience which may include feeling of being outside of one’s physical body. The person may move through a form of darkness or tunnel. He or she may meet deceased loved ones and even other entities. However, most recall an indescribalbe light that seemingly beckons them. Some NDEs are beautiful and peaceful, while others can be terrifying or unpleasant. In any event, most cases of NDEs result in a life-altering transformation.

While some believe that NDEs dramatically prove life after death, others seem to think a near death experience is a hallucination which the brain manifests in itself when pushed to extreme limits. What has been discovered is that different cultures, do in fact, experience similar episodes of NDEs. The only differential in other regions of the globe is that where one may see light here, others may see tall buildings or even stars. This, of course, transcends multi-diverse belief systems and how things or events are viewed in relation to NDEs.

Ultimately, what one person sees, hears or experiences during an NDE is entirely up the individual’s own belief system. Many persons may never have a near death experience because their own belief systems do not allow these thought patterns to channel their own mind; therefore, what you or I value or have learned to be recognitive of does not always apply in NDEs.

Do NDEs prove that life after death does in fact — exist? Again, we encounter the problematic belief system. Religious groups remain divided as some believe NDEs support life after death. Other religious groups reject the notion of an NDE because it falls in line with “the devil’s work.” Scientists, of course are the universal skeptics. While most do not accept near death experience, some actually do. But how they perceive NDE may be quite different than what one would expect. Some scientists agree that an NDE may be an “outer body experience,” but only caused by natural chemicals produced by the brain that merely concoct hallucinogenic properties.

However — I will conclude this article with an interesting fact that presents evidence of a much broader proportion. An NDE is when the body ceases to function. In other words, there is absolutely NO life exhibited in the human anatomy. It is when the person is “clinically dead” that an NDE is mostly experienced. NDE’ers are comprised of all walks of life. All races. All ages. All nationalities. All religions. Atheists. The intelligent and not-so-intelligent. The wealthy and the impoverished. World leaders and even hardened criminals. Science has not and cannot explain the overwhelming reports and documented cases of NDEs. Due to the deluge of NDEs, it is becoming harder and harder to ignore that life after death may INDEED exist.

Whether we ever experience an NDE or when our time comes to pass into the “afterlife,” I presume it will be then only that we finally discover the answer to this quandary. Until then, the paradox of near death experience and its life-altering effects on persons who have experienced it, will go unanswered.
