Spirituality & Transcendence

What do we mean by spiritual transcendence? Well many people use it to mean that after they die they will experience themselves as an expansive spiritual being and experience the universe, known and unknown, in the fullest possible way.

How satisfying does it feel to you having to forfeit your physical body and your life in order to have this experience?

Well, if you’re like many you probably never even thought about it, correct?

That’s why I’m asking you to think about it now. Hopefully you will and if so you may start to have some deep feelings about it.

If you’re like me you’ll feel that such an arrangement is not to your liking. It also makes your life and whatever meaning it might have rather clouded and confused doesn’t it?

This feeling of meaningless then requires some explanation to make us feel like we’re here for a reason. There have indeed been many such reasons put forth that individuals tend to adopt whether or not they feel right.

That’s because once one introduces death into the equation everything that one invests one’s life energy into at the end of the day starts to feel meaningless and there’s little that one can do about that.

So returning to the issue of transcendence it then tends towards “transcending” the meaninglessness of what we call a life that eventually comes to an end.

There is a bit of a problem here however. Many of us, if we’re honest with ourselves like being alive. There are times when it actually feels good. We also don’t like death much. If we could do without it we probably would. Now there’s something that feels meaningful, correct?

So what if transcendence meant “transcending” death? By that I don’t mean it the way you think i.e. going beyond death by dying.

What I do mean is getting rid of death and dying altogether!

Immortality is what I’m talking about if you haven’t already figured it out.

Is that even possible?

Well in my view it’s not only possible it’s who we really are, immortal beings. Something however has happened to us that has robbed us of our heritage. Instead we find ourselves in limited physical bodies that breakdown and die.

Working with clients it has been my experience that the reason this happens at all is because of the multitude of negative beliefs we have become conditioned into and which are stored consciously and unconsciously in our mind/bodies.

Such beliefs can be permanently dislodged and released from within. This sets off a remarkable transformation of the “limited physical” into “unlimited energy”. In other words a transmutational process begins.

This transmutational process is what I call “Transcendence”.
